Second time this happens :/ In game wheel steers to the right slightly, first time it was more drastic. Pretty annoying actually cause the solution is in-game calibration.. Might have something to do with me unplugging the power cable every time i put the wheel on the table.

Exactly, but still there's a time on RSR in low 40, and about a dozen in 41.. either found a way to trick the app, or that good.

NOT extending the track, a lap time that's valid by RSR, 2 wheels on track all the time..

If anyone wants to test drive the setup, found it on AC forums, managed 1:43.428, i have half a second maybe more.. but honestly don't see how 41 or 40 is possible, without going off the track with 4 wheels..

It goes in my documents/user/assetto corsa/setups/tatusfa1/imola.

Honestly, when you mix a good combo and good tires (by good i don't mean best, but the ones that feel most realistic), it's really not that far from the PC sims, at all. Talking about GT5 mind you..
But that whole 'game' mentality around it, is offputting. Online system is on the 1998 level, and only thing left that is fun, is hotlaping on couple of good combos.
Scrap all that if you really enjoy unlocking cars, swapping engines, and doing casual racing with kids who don't know how to race..

Well if you want to play a racing sim as a game, then yeah it's great. Meaning that you have to unlock cars, drive around cones to unlock a paint job, and save a queen from the castle, defended by four Veyrons... it's great fun.

So many confused people, what is confusing you now? Yes, i literally have no knowledge about setups, problem? And i was curious how you people here drive that combo with the default setup, just so i can see if i suck or not. Should i draw it for you?

Why does everyone have a need to change something, just fckin drive. Everyone for some reason changes to the best available tyre, and doesn't think that's worth mentioning when uploading a hotlap or something.

I have no idea what I'm doing when it comes to setups.. Not stubborn just wanted to see how others are doing with the default one..

I hate the damn setups.. yeah it's part of real racing but in sims it gets soo exploited that the cars become unrecognisable, and you lose the level playing field..

Anyone drove Formula Abarth at Imola.. Wonder how are people getting 1:40 on RSR when running wide on the run-off area makes the lap invalid. Can setup honestly make a 5 second difference?

If you could try it with default setup, 10 litres of fuel and super-soft tires, and keep at least 2 wheels on the track.. i've managed 1:45.496.

You mean rattling when you stand still? Yeah i get that too and i think it's some bug with the game, also when restarting a session it always jerks my wheel, like someone crashed into me..

But is that allowed in RL? Maybe he edited it, but RSR app is still acting like it's allowed, hence those crazy times on Imola.
